Better than I imagined it would be

I used to think I was missing out because I didn't have the village so many people talk about.
No weekend getaways or regular date nights. No dropping the kids off so I could work a traditional job uninterrupted. For a long time, I genuinely believed those things were somehow standing between me and the life I wanted, but this last year has completely changed my perspective.
I've spent the last year building two businesses with my children by my side through every bit of it. They've come with me to community events while I serve as Project Manager for MVA. They've ridden alongside me delivering Amazon packages and doordash orders. They've watched me chase dreams that once felt completely out of reach. And even now, as I've finally made room to pursue hobbies I genuinely love, they're right there beside me for that too.
Somewhere along the way I realized..
I'm not missing out. In fact, I'm incredibly blessed.
Because years ago, I thought having to bring my children through every opportunity would hold me back. I thought multitasking my way through life would somehow paralyze me from becoming successful or pursuing the things I loved.
Instead, I'm living in the complete opposite of that truth.
I'm living in opportunities I prayed for years ago.
The funny thing about answered prayers is they rarely show up looking exactly how we imagined they would. Somehow they become everything we thought they would be, and everything we thought they wouldn't.
Looking back now, I honestly don't think these opportunities could have come at a better time.
Not because life suddenly got easier, but because I am finally becoming the woman who could appreciate them for what they are.
Every order they help pack. Every event they attend and delivery they ride along for. Every hobby they get to not only watch me pursue, but even learn beside me; They're witnessing what faith, perseverance, hard work, and answered prayers look like in real life. I wouldn't trade that for all the free weekends or uninterrupted workdays in the world.
Here's to sharing every answered prayer alongside my children. Especially the small ones, like finally having the time and confidence to pursue the hobbies I love. Somewhere along the way I am realizing..
This is exactly the life I prayed for.
Maybe not in the way I pictured it,
But somehow even better
